Decky disappeared and can’t be reinstalled ?
I had decky installed before updating in the settings now it’s disappeared. I ran ujust setup-decky but it gives failed to start plugin_loader.service : unit plug_loader.service not found
Failed to enable unit plugin_loader.service does not exist.
I reinstalled it from desktop mode and and ran curl -L https://github.com/SteamDeckHomebrew/decky-installer/releases/latest/download/install_release.sh | sh but it still gave me the same error message about the unit plugin

steam crashes, might be due to broken decky install
you can rename the homebrew folder and try install again
or rename the folder and reboot (to see if gamemode starts)
if gamemode does not start with decky removed then run
ujust fix-reset-steam to reset steam to factory defaults (remove everything except saves, prefixes and games)
means you have to login to steam and maybe add back any non steam games. but it fixes most steam issues where the client falls over itselfThank you. I was running that after waiting for your response.
Do you have any idea why my download for decky failed ?
It was on my system before I applied the latest steam update

no idea why the download fails
if you have access to a vpn try installing while on that. or try change your dns server and reconnect to the network then try installing again
might also be worth checking how much space you have on your disk. use the
df command in the terminal. If you out of space that would explain why the download is failingwhen in doubt, use the prerelease build of Decky to see if it fixes issues
