mm.c:552:out of memory on boot of usb
Trying to install Bazzite onto my desktop computer, I was able to install it onto my Framework 16 no problem.
I downloaded the bazzite-nvidia-open-stable.iso and used fedora media writer (tried from both windows and bazzite).
Computer specs:
Motherboard: ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO
CPU: Intel i7-12700K
Memory: 32 GB DDR5
GPU: 4090
SSD: WD 770 2TB
Upon selecting the usb drive to boot, it prompts:
install bazzite
test & install bazzite
Troubleshooting
Selecting the top two options and the option in troubleshooting that says basic graphics all cause the same error of:
Pressing any button causes the cursor to move down one line and freeze.
Update:
I took the m.2 out of my desktop and installed it into my framework, the iso worked and was able to install the os.
I put it back into my desktop and it fails with the same error when trying to boot.

Disabling TPM allows the os to boot. However, I would like to be able to keep it.
I tried clearing the TPM via windows then the bios. While that worked the first time, it seems that after trying to enable TPM usage in Bazzite caused the out of memory error again.
Did you ever get this sorted? I have the same motherboard, but with the Z790 chipset and am getting the error now and can't install. I finally gave up and tried a couple other distros, all give the same error.
Needed to completely turn off the tpm for it to work
Couldnt get it to work with it on
Just be careful if you are dual booting and you have it set up on Windows
Thank you for the reply!
My system worked fine with it enable prior to my BIOS update. I updated the BIOS, wiped the partitions on both drives, installed Windows, then Bazzite and it, not any other install works now.. Just wanted to get back to my dual boot setup and man, nothing is installing now.
Since it worked previous with TPM enabled, and now it suddenly doesn't, and it is broken on all distros I have tried, I am guessing it is probably something changed with grub, since that is the common denominator across distros.
Well, I guess in my case, it could also be Ventoy. Regardless I will look into both of those. If I find success, I will get back to you. I am a Linux noob, so it might be a while hehe. Take care!
I am also a noob! I decided personally that since it was my desktop pc tpm wasnt all that important compared to my laptop (where tpm works just fine)
