How and with what do I wear this?
I got this 0 neck sweater, I added a picture from the website of where my giftee got it. I was wondering, how do I wear it and does it make me look like I'm 40?

I mean, you can wear this with a lot - it's a very plain, basic piece. How you style it will determine whether it looks young or old or whatever though.
How does it fit you? What do you have to pair with it?
I dont have it here so I can't take a picture rn. I usually wear business casual so I was thinking of combining it with a beige chino and corduroy. might do an overshirt, or a red shirt. Haven't decided yet. Definetly a chino under, but I dont like it with darker blues.
Try it on with some different things when it arrives and see what you like
i like the idea, but this is one where i think trying it on will be key, as there's many beiges and many reds
shoe choice is probably going to impact how young/old you look. sneakers will read differently than loafers which will read differently than oxfords.
I'm currently down to 1 pair, all white sneakers. it'll age me down enough I think. I think the right shade of red works too. I just like beige corduroy pants and shirt better. I'm going to try it this week. I don't have either yet but I've wanted both for longer anyway so it works out well.
I do look good in red, but I struggle to combine said red shirt with other things.
I’m not sold yet. I’m not going to return it out of principle, but like idk. I’m not gonna ever look good in it if not comfortable in it; so I’ll have to grow into it. I don’t have white pants, corduroy and a red shirt yet and I have plenty in my wardrobe to combine them with so it wouldn’t be a bad purchase. Just not sure yet.
(You can also picture them with full white shoes if that’s better)
Also feels like I’ve gone the distance that I can on this sweater.
Always a good plan; and its what I did. Went to a couple stores before I started trying stuff on. i dont like jeans that much and I dont have the chinos for this bad boy.
to me the thoughts of "I'm not going to feel comfortable in it/it's run its course" and "i'm not going to return it" are in conflict with each other
i personally wouldn't keep something i don't feel good in but if you're looking for ways to make it work i'd check #waywt or #inspiration or even stuff like lookastic, just to see what kinds of things people are wearing with sweaters
I’m usually like this, wait a day and I’ll be fine. I do think it looks good, just has to be worn in I suppose. (Figuratively). With run its course I meant that I wasn’t sure if I could make it better in ways that I would like.
fair; with those kinds of things you might have to wctively seek out different ways of wearing it e g. https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1310304485456871466 https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1308189411443216405 https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1301610940424261672
