nvidia-smi not working
Hello,
I recently distrojumped to bazzite from kinoite and have the same issue with 'nvidia-smi' command:
"NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running."
However I can make easy switch from dGPU to iGPU over SUPERGFX which points that nvidia driver and gpu should be working okay.
And idea what is the possible fix for this?

What bazzite image are you using and what GPU do you have? I have the GTX 1050 TI and I get that error if I try and use bazzite-nvidia-open because older cards don't work with the newer open driver. But the bazzite-nvidia image has been working well on my old 1050 TI.
I'm suing bazzite-nvidia-open image and have RTX 3060 on my laptop.
If you use something like Mission Center (it's available in the software store) it can show you if your GPU is getting utilised in games or not. It's odd that nvidia-smi isn't working for you though
