Industrial Evolution Version Solving Failed
Recently, I've noticed that SMM complains when I roll Industrial Evolution back to a prior version due to troubleshooting, saying that my Satisfactory version is "CL368883" and needs to be ">=382498" for the version of IndEv that I want to install.
Thing is, my Satisfactory ("Early Access") version is up to date, so I don't know why SMM thinks my version is "CL368883", and not "CL383729" as displayed in game.
This seems specific to IndEv - none of the other Mods complain about this solving issue.

allows any compatible version to be installed (prioritizing newer versions, of course), so when that is selected, Experimental gets whatever old version was still compatible with it, while Stable gets the latest16 Replies
Try turning mods off and back on again and see if it helps
Also, did you update the game while SMM was still open? Restarting SMM should fix it
Yup, went ahead and did all that again. Oddly, even selecting the "1.5.5 or Newer" option gave me the same message, which is wild, since that's the current version of the mod.
But "Any" version of the mod doesn't.
I assume the "Any" option skips the version checking / solving section of code?
I did a verify of my Satisfactory just to be sure, which came up clean. (Epic if it matters.)
@Mircea Sorry for the ping, could please take look into this? Thanks
You have both Stable and Experimental installed, both being assigned the same profile. Stable is 383729 and Experimental is 368883. Because installing mods is done at the profile level, this means that it will install the mod to both installs, resulting in that error when trying to force install a newer version in the Experimental install
Select Experimental in the game version dropdown in the top left, and turn mods off for it

Ian, IMO you should uninstall the Experimental branch, since v1.0 new patches are released for the stable version

SMM queries the APIs of the EPIC and Steam game store apps to determine where your game is. If you moved its location after installation manually, your installer client will not know where it is. You will need to reinstall your game through your store client so that it is in a known location. This will not affect your saves.
Or are you using Cracked version?
