Ionic Equilibrium.

Few small doubts. 1. When do we neglect terms like 1±α? How much does it impact the final answer? 2. When do we factor in the contribution of auto-ionisation for calculating pH of a solution?

5% rule if the answer is off by <= 5% same answer for both

of the answer like 10-8 ka pH to be 8 is wrong because it is >5% from the answer which ie 6.98 or whatever
