Trying to install Bazzite on dual boot (Zephyrus g14 2024)
Hello! I have been trying to dual boot Bazzite on my Zephyrus g14 for the past 2 days, and I get this error when the deployment starts that says there is a fatal error

I have done the following
Turned secure boot off
Tried a different etching software
Shrunk space on ssd in windows and then went to Bazzite installer, then custom, then selected my shrunken space
The farthest I’ve gotten is the “deployment starting” step
And then I get the error
I know that the deployment starting step takes a little bit and then continues, but it takes a little bit, and then gives me the error
Okay I have the error again. I am going to take a picture of my screen
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi @Carny , I also have a zephyrus g14 and am considering installing Bazzite on it. Did you have a good experience in the end? Is it working well for you?

I am mainly wondering about technical issues. I tried to install a plain Ubuntu on it some months ago and had plenty of driver trouble, so reverted back to the windows it came with. These things tend to get better over time and I'm just wondering if Bazzite is a generally hassle free experience
I second this question I have a 23 g14 and wondering how the drivers are bc the6-8 other distros I tried didnt play nice with optimus
