Changing the monitor hertzation

Can anyone tell me how to enable changing monitor hertz via mangohud in the steam menu? My TV supports 30, 50 and 60 hertz. I would like to use this killer feature of steam

you open the right menu and change it. CTRL+2 or guide+A (press guide then A on xinput due to xbox driver shenanigans) notes: this assumes xbox layout for the controller when explaining, its the same button location regardless of controller, the bottom one

Nope, I can't change the hertzec, only limit the FPS to multiples of 2, 3, 4 and 5.

think you need to add a custom environment variable to ~/.config/environment.d/gamescope-session.conf then forgot what it was and cant check atm though but its a variable that tells gamescope session what hz are supported for the session

STEAM_DISPLAY_REFRESH_LIMITS=40,60 i think thats the env var you need, just change the values to what you need

Just add this line to the gamescope-session.conf file and nothing else? bin/bash, ;, , etc is not necessary?

This option added a dummy monitor refresh rate slider that does nothing

Furthermore, the range setting is ignored. I set it to 50,60. However, this slider offers to change the frequency from 40 to 60
