Why is acetanilide less basic than aniline ?

Don't 27th and 30th answers contradict each other??

In 27, Acylation of amines happens on nitrogen. However, 30 refers to OCH3 in parasubstituted anilines specifically In all other cases, OCH3 decreases electron density

So in acetanilide, och3 group withdraws electrons, but in compounds like anisole, it releases electrons??

Acetanilide doesn't have an OCH3?? Acetanilide is C6H5NHAc
