GNOME menus are cut off by the bottom of the screen on Steam Deck at 150% scaling

On a default install with no settings changed, pressing the "Steam Deck" button in the upper-left or the "Steam" button in the upper-right brings up a menu that goes down past the bottom of the screen. There does not appear to be a way to interact with the options that are cut off, short of changing scaling in Settings.

100% scaling is a requirement Unfortunately anything else breaks the steam keyboard, and causes issues like this

Ah, if 100% scaling is a requirement then why is 150% the default setting at first boot?

Shouldn't be, that's the bug I'll double check our workaround script actually fires in a VM

100% scaling on a 1280x800 display seems a lot less usable ... GNOME has its own on-screen keyboard

we don't use it
