Real or fake Lemaire Belted Jeans
Got these Lemaire Twisted Belted Jeans in Espresso from Stoy. Didn’t find anything suspect about Stoy but just wondering with the repros you see around

Much more common to see fakes on secondhand sites or amazon-level websites than an actual boutique
I’m not at home now but can compare later. Highly doubt they’re fake though if you bought them from a stockist.

Definitely pants I would have been afraid to buy secondhand because I guess the reps on these are pretty good but agree with others that these are almost certainly real.

If you lay them flat they should want to almost twist inwards and have ripples. The reps are supposedly pretty easy to lay flat. Supposedly reps are softer and less sturdy too but that's hard to tell without knowing how the legit ones feel
A few I've seen on grailed are almost certainly fake but besides the point
Last I checked I only found reps in black and light grey, reps might not exist for a more recent color/fabric combination

That makes sense to me although I bought my black pair in person at the Lemaire store and I guess they’d been folded flat in the storeroom for a long time because they could lie flat at first. After a wear or two though it was impossible to fold them without some wrinkles.

Yeah, I think because it’s not really possible to fold it along the seam or with a center pleat like a normal pair of pants
Anyway smile you should feel good because yours definitely look authentic and they are great pants, we are probably going overboard analyzing for the hell of it
