Legion GO black screen after resuming from sleep / inactivity
Hi all,
I’ve been enjoying Bazzite on my Legion GO for a couple of months now. Initial experience was pretty good but lately (maybe after an update) I’ve noticed that on many occasions the Legion won’t wait up properly after it goes into sleep mode after inactivity. The sleep / resume function use to work correctly but not anymore. 90% of times the screen doesn’t wake up but the controllers do but I’m not able to wake up the screen. I’ve noticed that sometime plugging in my keyboard via USB C adapter and hitting escape will wake up the screen but that doesn’t always work. I’d hate to re-install again as I’ve had it setup the all the installers and have installed a lot of games from various stores (GOG/EA etc). I’d appreciate if someone could help me fix this issue.

You mean in KDE?
Yes, that is right, it’s mostly KDE. However, I’ve seen it in game mode as well but very rare.
On the Legion Go there's a bug (not sure if its still an issue) that makes it so you cannot turn the screen back on if it is turned off by the KDE session, but waking from sleep should be fine.
Can you make sure you ONLY got sleep enabled, and not "turn off screen"?
I'ts under Power Management in KDE System Settings app
Thanks dude. That helped. So far so good, haven’t seen any issues yet. I do have another issue but that’s related to running the games from gog, ea and amazon store. I’ll make a separate post about it.
Glad to hear this worked. Let me know if it stays working. The turn off screen function has been broken many times by kernel/KDE updates. KDE should ideally only be used for stuff u can't use gamescope (Steam Gaming Mode) for, since gamescope is the most stable and tested.
Any app that you can add to your steam library and runs through gaming mode is the best (if it works). This includes stuff like emulators.
