add second (2nd) hard drive as media storage (two/multiple drives)

Hey there 👋 I'm running of of space on my main hard drive with the runtipi install and would like to make use of the second SSD already physically installed on my server.
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
sda 8:0 0 698.6G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 1G 0 part /boot/efi
└─sda2 8:2 0 697.6G 0 part /
nvme0n1 259:0 0 476.9G 0 disk #mount this drive
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
sda 8:0 0 698.6G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 1G 0 part /boot/efi
└─sda2 8:2 0 697.6G 0 part /
nvme0n1 259:0 0 476.9G 0 disk #mount this drive
Is there currently a best practice or recommended approach for mounting additional drives and using them across containers, while keeping changes to the configuration manageable? End goal in my case would be to offload the media library (or perhaps the whole media folders) to that secondary SSD, to use it across the arr suite + transmission. I've seen a few scattered bits of advice here and there through the discord search, but perhaps this thread could serve to document different approaches? I'd love to hear your suggestions and can provide further info :)

I would advise you to move all media to your second SSD Then you can mount the SSD folder onto the runtipi media folder
sudo mount --bind /mnt/media /home/motivated/runtipi/media
sudo mount --bind /mnt/media /home/motivated/runtipi/media

Thanks a lot for your input, turned out to be a very good solution in my case without having to work with LVM. Generally speaking though, would setting up LVM to combine hard drives before setting up a fresh Runtipi instance be the preferred solution to fully make use of those drives? Or is there a better alternative (also considering data integrity when splitting stuff across multiple drives)?
