Washing Recommendations for Vintage Military Parka
I have a vintage military parka that I would like to clean. The jacket has a removable liner that itself is lined with deep pile fleece. Could I dry clean the two pieces (liner and shell) separately? The jacket has no care tag but appears well cared for, only a few faint marks on the sleeves. Thanks in advance!

I have a similar jacket from Hungary, you could probably get the exterior cleaned easily, but the liner might not be so easy to clean
Either way that's a cool piece and would look good even without the liner
I don't see why not. Both pieces should also be easy to clean at home
@Digs probably knows better than anyone but I would thing any military garment would be fine to wash regular style too
I’ve tossed all my milsurp stuff in the wash no problem but I could just be crazy
Unless it has like fur I would think normal wash would be okay. I don’t think the army is paying dry cleaning bills.
Yeah that’s my thinking too lmao
Yah its garment made for war lol just wash it. I would do cold water delicate cycle or if you wanna be real careful, hand wash in tub and hang dry
Thanks y’all! Appreciate the input.
