Inspo for long sleeve tees?

Currently the owner of many slim fit henleys. I plan on keeping some around for use as under layers, but I want to see other long sleeve tee fits. I wear sweaters already so I figured if they are not being used as a thermal/underlayer, that they would be a lighter version of a sweater for transitional weather? But kind of want to see what that would look like sizing/fit and outfit-styling wise. Currently the only long sleeve tee that I own that isn’t meant to be an underlayer is this one from Marine Layer (apologies for messy room)

For instance here is the M-Slim (left) and S-Classic (right) henley I got at J.Crew recently for sizing. My instinct is that if I wanted to wear a long sleeve tee as more of a standalone piece I would want to go for the roomier M-Slim fit, but if I was going to wear it under a flannel shirt or something I’d want to go with the slimmer S-Classic fit. Any advice appreciated!

Small looks better for either use case henleys are maybe the one piece i think looks better on the slim side If you want a lightweight sweater for transitional weather those definitely exist, look into cotton/linen or cotton/hemp blends

@top raisin got it. Would you say the same re:fit for something like crew neck + pocket tee? Or even polo etc.

Also here is one I forgot to add, this is cotton but I don’t see it as a “tee”…I wear it all the time as my lounge around at home shirt. But I’m guessing this is more similar to a “sweater” style?
