Random FPS drops/performance issues.
When I say random, I mean random and without correlation to action or time frame (not consistently anyways). My game at any point will drop to 4 FPS or less (from around 80 FPS when capped) and run like that until I Alt + F4 and restart. It can happen when joining the world (singleplayer or multiplayer) or after a few minutes of playtime. Can anyone possibly offer any advice? I will provide any information (specs, logs, etc.) that is needed once someone responds.

This can sometimes be caused by something outputting far more text to logs than it should, which is the only thing I can think of which would be somewhat easily identifiable

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in #help-using-mods. This ensures that your help request won't get buried and forgotten in other, non-help channels!
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs

triggered by @GoosetavOh, I see. I would like to mention that my RAM would spike to 75% - 80+% (24GB RAM) not sure if that has any implications on performance issues
hmm doesn't look like a crazy amount of output
I mean, that certainly seems related!
24GB would surely be enough though right? I run the game at Medium and this issue has only started to occur since the release of 1.0
If there isn't anything specific in the logs that you've seen then this may very well simply be a hardware issue on my end and not necessarily game related?
Could still be mod related - with todays patch we're still discovering new odd behaviours

Follow this flowchart to troubleshoot issues caused by mods (crashes, unexpected behavior, etc.). More information can be found on the docs: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#_how_can_i_troubleshoot_crash_issues
That is also true. I just read through the milestone problem (where modded milestones in the HUB did not accept materials), and the solution worked.
Thank you, I will have a look at this and report back.
Just the let you know, since this will take some time so I will keep this thread open for the time being.
