1.0.1.0 Issues
It seems the majority of my mods are now incompatible with 1.0.1.0 Was curious if anyone has a backup of 1.0.0.7 or knows the steam repository for it.... never had issues with satisfactory mods so never thought to keep a stable backup. Any other solutions would be greatly appreciated, would rather not have to disable all these mods I love.

I also wish to know of a possible backup, as my whole factory relies on broken mods :)
sameee, very frustrating the update broke so many mods at once
i learned my lesson and quickly disabled automatic updates.
it's a shame you can pick a specific version to be installed :(
*can't
Same here
yeahhh wish coffee stain would add the support for it as I think they can, pretty sure you can pick your update in the betas section for hollow knight
they should get a load of that Mojang flavor, so many versions you can easily install, even side by side
i use mod on dedicated serveur

downloading the depot did take forever though way slower than normal steam downloads
thank for this but
I'm on Epic and I haven't made a backup unfortunately. if one of you has a copy of the games and also the dedicated server I am interested
I don't have the dedicated server but I can send the main game, idk how I'd send you files that large though

ah I see sorry I suppose I can't be of help then :/
That manifest number says "Access Denied". I'm downloading 7042590830651783968 right now, hoping it will work
sorry thats totally my bad, when I copy and pasted it I lost the last number for it but you got the same one I used there
Just passing to say it worked like a charm. I'm on linux, btw.

if I backup the same as a later version can I use the save I was playing on later for the updated version?
I'm experiencing a case of 404: Brain Not Found, can you rephrase for me?
it may be a obvious question. If I back up and play my save on the backuped version, when the mods update stability for the new updated main game can I transfer the work I did on the backuped version to the updated one?
@sjhoward
You can copy stuff you've built from one save to another using SCIM, but not really transfer progress as such
Normally yes, updates are compatible with early (recent) saves. Some updates (either the game's or some mod's) may break savegame compatibility.
