I think it might be a skill issue
I have a problem I started playing Val a bit more lately and im winning most gun fights but when im getting sprayed and I try to move to you know strafe instead of that do I just spray back and try to win it?

um if they're spraying just like shoot them
cuz they're probably just like standing still
or you could like pull ur knife out and like jump away
but strafing is good tho
i'd say always try to go for the head, but in some cases u just cant because for example: u have no first bulllet accuracy, then i would recommend spray or wait a bit and try to go for the head again
