🔧 Issue with save file after Satisfactory and Mod Manager update – need help! 🔧
Hey everyone,
I’m facing a serious issue with my Satisfactory world after updating to version 1.0 and the Mod Manager.
It’s a save file where I’ve spent over 330 hours 💔. Here’s the situation:
1. I updated the game, Mod Manager, and the mods that were available for updates.
2. I uninstalled only one mod – Huge Storage (256) – since it was the only one that wasn’t updated.
3. Everything looked fine in Mod Manager, but the game keeps crashing and throwing me to the desktop every time I try to load the save with mods enabled.
4. I tried loading the same save without mods – it worked, but all the buildings and features from the mods were missing, making the game on that save unplayable.
Below is the list of mods I’m currently using for this save (minus the uninstalled Huge Storage mod):
Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this issue? Or how I can fix the save and restore it to its modded state? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in #help-using-mods. This ensures that your help request won't get buried and forgotten in other, non-help channels!
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs

The crash is in code related to containers, which seems suspicious for huge storage - but usually all modded content is just removed if the mod is removed
Yes I removed Huge Storage and this is my list now
Also you stated that it does load if all mods are disabled, so that pretty much rules huge storage out.
There's two things I'd try, unless someone smarter has any suggestions:
1. Load your save into SCIM, then save it back out and try loading that version

Follow this flowchart to troubleshoot issues caused by mods (crashes, unexpected behavior, etc.). More information can be found on the docs: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#_how_can_i_troubleshoot_crash_issues
In case you're unfamiliar with SCIM:

Could you explain step-by-step what exactly I need to? I know what you mean but I don't want to do these things wrong
@sjhoward ?
then make sure you load the save with _CALCULATOR
