How do I add mods to my Pufferpanel Forge Server?
So, I followed these videos, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kFjEUDJexI&t=426s, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTAB5moyMVQ&t=2s, to create a minecraft server with an Oracle VM and pufferpanel but I am at the step where I have pufferpanel ready but I can't add any mods to it.
I have started the server and installed the files I need but now I can't write any mods to it. I've been using FileZilla to try and add mods to the server folder but it always hits me with,
/var/lib/pufferpanel/servers/d685babd/mods/AI-Improvements-1.20-0.5.2.jar: open for write: permission denied
Error: File transfer failed
I've tried this like a year ago and it worked better but for some reason I can't get it to work now.
If anyone has run into the same problem or knows any video links that would help I would really appreciate it.

Ubuntu user doesnt have the access to that folder, upload to /home/ubuntu and move it after
The pufferpanel folder is outside /home/ubuntu, if I move it all, will it affect anything?
I meant move the mods manually after
Not move the home folder itself
oh, so I should move the server files into /home/ubuntu, then move the files I need and move back to /var/lib/pufferpanel/servers
No no
Upload mods to /home/ubuntu
Then just move those mods to the server folder
After you sudo su
do I have to do any of this in the PuTTY panel or is it all done in FileZilla
I got this error

As a note... the panel gives you SFTP credentials... use them instead of working around the system.
I dont know where those are
In the files tab... scroll down
in filezilla Ive been using these
Host: sftp://150.136.44.192
Username: ubuntu
How do I use these?

in filezilla
Host: sftp://150.136.44.192:5657
Username: [email protected]|d685babd
as a note... [email protected] is bad to use.. because that's not your email....
I didn't plan on using anything with my email for this, and the guy in the video said if I wasn't it shouldn't matter. Should I still change it tho?
You should never use an email you don't own really.
Does it matter? No, but it's still bad practice.
Also, im still getting errors.

Use your password for the panel, not the system.
Oh, Ty! I wasn't putting any password because I didn't need one when logging in with ubuntu
Tysm, for your help! I've been trying to get this to work for 2 days and have gotten nowhere. I would do everything in the video and get errors with network and now moving these files. I really don't know whats going on so I've just been trying to copy videos and other peoples tutorials.
