SMM error when launching
I'm so lost and cannot open SMM anymore. I've uninstalled/reinstalled SMM a dozen times.
Wiped all related files (I think) off my system drives.
Deleted caches. I don't care if my profiles are wiped.
What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance

The profiles are stored in
%appdata%\ficsit\profiles.json
That has no relevance to this issue. The profiles json got corrupted, likely because of a PC or SMM crash while it was saving the file. SMM also removes any characters that are not valid for a path in the profile name when a file with that name does have to be saved (which is not the case here)
Please stop jumping into help threads with suggestions that are completely unrelated if you don't actually know what the issue is, and someone else is already helping, you're just confusing the people asking for helpVery well
@Mircea appreciate your help. My ficsit folder is empty and I've deleted it many times. Spent a good hour last night deleting every file I could find associated to Satisfactory and SMM. Still having this issue. Apologies if I'm not understanding something. Truly lost in the sauce on this one
No idea why but thiiiiis time deleting the ficsit folder everything worked. Swear I have done that a bunch. Either way THANK YOU!!!!
