Can I run mods on UbuntuServer in CLI mode?
I don't have GUI interface, server is running purely in CLI. I've tried installing SMM but it doesn't work it keep trying opening in GUI mode. --cli flag doesn't seem to work.

SMM is designed to run on your client, where you can add a connection to the server through (s)ftp, such that you can keep the client and server mods in sync
If you really want to install mods on the server through cli, and lose SMM's client-server compatibility and update checks, you can use ficsit-cli instead
