Black screen on new install
I just fresh installed a few days ago. I transitioned this from the GNOME environment to KDE. I was setting everything up as i usual would and now i just have a black screen. it will post, get to GRUB where i select ARCH, and when i do it just does this every time. i can't get anywhere to do or fix anything.
update: i tried to remove splash from grub by booting and hitting e in the GURB menu and that did not work either.

can you get any logs? switch to another tty and run
journalctl -b
?no, i boot up and it stops here before i can get to the log in screen
switch to another ttylike Ctrl+alt+f3
I did
and it's doing that on that tty too?
Thankfully no
That is working
alright, so why can't you get the logs then?
I did
I'm unsure of what to look for?
me too lol
just see if you can spot anything
if not, just upload all of it
How do I exit the command?
q
Never mind
alright lol
Ctrl+C worked
Ok I know exactly what is going on here
In the boot loader you need to remove the splash screen
Arch and KDE for some reason don't work well with each other

@Souldragon
Yeah, I tried that 3 times. It didn't work. I was at the link @π Asterisk sent, followed it, and the same thing happened.
From there try to start Wayland
Should be startplasmacompositor
You can also try systemctl start sddm
Alright, I'll replicate that same issue on another machine I have.
