can you install the bazzite-deck version of the OS onto a desktop that's not a handheld?
hi ya'll, I'm new to Linux and I mean really new and with my new pc that I'm building I was thinking about putting bazzite on it instead of windows. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to put bazzite-deck on something that is not a steamdeck or any other handheld pc and if that would cause any unforseen issues.

Yup. You can install the deck version on a desktop or laptop that you want to use as an HTPC. Note that you don't want to use an Nvidia GPU in the computer that you are building. As the deck version of Bazzite doesn't work with Nvidia GPUs
Have a look at the Bazzite docs for more information https://docs.bazzite.gg/General/Installation_Guide/Installing_Bazzite_for_HTPC_Setups/
