Winter Coat for 5'4 height.

I always wear parka/puffer during winter and during formal occasion I don't have winter coat. I live in canada and most of coats here are too large for me. Any recommendation where can I get coat for my height? I want something like here in the picture

If you don't mind, where abouts in Canada? Bit of a different winter between Northern SK and Windsor, ON.

I'm in Toronto It's kinda whack to wear puffer in formal setting.

this is great somewhat on this range CAD$300 or less

Yeah, looks like that would be a good option if you've got ~36in chest

Are you comfortable shopping for clothing second hand/used? If so, my recommendation would be to look for a peacoat or an overcoat at a secondhand store or on eBay

I got a good overcoat from Value Village though them having overcoats is hit or miss, they got those in Ontario?

Kensington market has good vintage shopping in Toronto, for example Selection is pretty massive Value village or goodwill also work but finding something in your size is less consistent and could take more trips to the store (since the amount of stock they carry is less and it’s not curated as well)

Yeah, found that overcoat once and have not seen a overcoat there since.

yea we also got value village, i'm also checking winners and marshal earlier but most of them are puffers I was here yesterday but got no time to look around. Might as well go back and check

Best I can see online is this one from Moore's. Bit too wide, but on a overcoat not the biggest worry.

For wool overcoats and peacoats specifically, vintage/used is going to give you a lot better value for your money. Good quality coats like this will cost $$$$$ new (out of your budget)

Yeah, my tailor had new ones going for like CAD$700+ (off the rack, not custom or bespoke or anything)

There are tons of shops there and they are surprisingly large inside, worth a look for sure

If you want to try online, that search should give you a start. If you find some examples that you like, feel free to post them here and we can give you an opinion on them
