TCB type 2 vs Sugarcane
Hi guys wondering if any of you guys have experience with these two? They both look good.

my experience with the tcb type 2 is that the fabric is amazing but the cut has absolutely not held up for me. Disclaimer I may have an older version, I've heard its been updated slightly. Basically its long a slim but the real kicker is extremely skinny arm holes. I'm not even muscular but they are now uncomfortably tight in the armpit
so you might double check that those measurements work for you
Thanks, they phased out the older cut and updated the armhole by + 3 cm. I guess a lot of people complained π
do you have any experience with sugarcane?
not the jackets no but they seem very well regarded
I see, I forgot, did I ask you about your favorite brands before? π
they're an awesome bunch over at TCB so I'll probably go with them. super responsive when you send them an email
I like tcb a lot just have learned to be careful of their cuts, they seem to like unexpected low rises , skinny arm holes, etc
yeah, I got enamored with their website and reading about how they do everything.
My favorite thing about tcb is how so many denim brands lean into the mean side⦠badass motorcycles, legendary warriors, ancient mythical beasts, etc. and tcb is just named after some cats
So refreshing in that sphere
Actually I do have some sugar cane jeans, they are a persimmon dyed Okinawa jean and they are quite nice π
I have a sugarcane type 2 absolutely love it
I donβt think you can go wrong with either jacket to be honest
they both look really good π they look similar too so I don't think it makes sense to buy both
what jackets are your favorites?
Its just a wholesome vibe overall. I get lost reading in their website
I have the TCB 20s jacket, which isn't the one you are looking at but I'm extremely pleased with it.
No issues with arm holes on it whatsoever. I'd go as far as saying it's the perfect cut denim jacket for me. I have their storm rider as well and also no issue with arm holes
I see the arm hole issue posted a lot online and think that it may be an older issue as Scott said and they have updated the patterns more recently
Thanks for sharing Soup! I that 20s jacket looks really good, another one I'll make note of for my a future purchase π
