azimuth mouse input on flatland only working to close windows

i'm running the server, flatland, hexagon_launcher and manifold | azimuth. i can move the mouse pointer and window focusing works for keyboard input, but the only place mouse clicking seems to work is on the flatland close window button. i can't seem to get any application to register clicking or scrolling of any kind. (it also doesn't do anything on the hexagon launcher, but i'm not sure if that's technically a bug)

for reference, my end goal is to have a couple of terminal windows, my music player and some kind of web browser running (since it seems like firefox is quite broken) i want to try doing something productive, which in this case is continuing my adventure of learning rust (via the online rust book, thus the web browser), with nvim running in one of the terminals, another terminal ready with cargo run, and i don't think i need to explain the music player lol

gotcha, main branches I'll need to retest it myself, thanks for identifying more reproducible setups! :blobnom: have a cookie
