Legion Go / Bazzite / Desktop KDE / HHD and Decky
Hey folks,
I've scoured the internuts but can't find anything.
I installed desktop on my LGO because I want to boot straight to desktop, rather than going via steam. Also, I'm quite new to Linux.
Does HHD and/or Decky still come with the desktop version of Bazzite? I can't pull it up in the main menu, can't install it through "discover".
When I try to install through the terminal I get:
Handheld Daemon is preinstalled on Bazzite. If your device is not whitelisted, you can enable Handheld Daemon with the command: sudo systemctl enable --now hhd@$(whoami)When I try that I get:
Failed to enable unit: Unit [email protected] does not exist

HHD does not ship on the desktop variant
and the desktop variant is not meant for handhelds, for your LGO you will want bazzite-deck
Decky Loader can be used on any image

I had a feeling that would be the case.
Instead - do you know if there's a way to install Bazzite-deck, but have it boot straight to desktop, instead of navigating through "steam / user / desktop"?
At this time there is not, that matches Steam OS behavior
It may change in the future
