Help!! Bazzite game mode shows black screen and restarts!!!
Hi, I just installed bazzite in my laptop an Asus tuf FX505DY, which has a ryzen 5 3550 H and RX 560 series (discrete), and in desktop mode, it works well, but when I change to game mode, it keeps restarting, just showing me the logo of steam and bazzite, i tried to see if it could work using the rpm-ostree upgrade, but with that the gamemode doesnt work now, it goes directly to desktop mode, can you help me??

gamescope has a bug atm with dual AMD GPU laptops that causes it to not see any displays and exit
I'm afraid you'll need to stick to a desktop image for now, you can rebase to one from the desktop
and rebase back when it's fixed
Maybe try rebase to an older version of Bazzite. Try the latest Bazzite 40 and see if the issue still persists. Open your terminal and run
bazzite-rollback-helper rebase stable-40.20241020.0 this will roll you back to an image from a month ago. Then you can confirm if your issue is something in the latest Bazzite 41 or something else.
Didn't see Kyle's message. Not sure when the gamescope issue was introduced, so no idea if my rollback idea will worksince launch
afraid the only option is to wait for it to be fixed, rollback won't correct it

I tried that, but when I try to rebase, an error appears saying that it couldnt be done because of an encryption

it allows the display to be either on the integrated or dedicated gpu
as stated above already gamescope probably looks for the display on your rx 560 while the display is conencted to the vega 8
Yes, it has mux switch
try and change your mux mode to the dedicated gpu. it should be on hybrid by default.
also means you will be using the dedicated all the time

Hi agaian, I tried to search for the mux switch, but neither the armoury crate nor the amd adrenaline had the option for it in windowsa, I was wondering if I shouls install the adrenaline software on bazzite

The thing is that I checked in desktop and it recognizes the RX560 without any issue, even played a bit of Marvel´s Spiderman on desktop, but It doesnt give the game mode, should I wait until its fixed??
