Critical error after latest system update (done through steam UI)
Every time I turn on my rog ally, it keeps returning this error. Is there anything I can do about this?

Have you tried picking the previous release in grub?
How do i do that?
At boot you're presented two different operating system images
Just plug in a keyboard and pick the other one
When i boot the computer i am not presented with those options. It boots immediately into the error. I have secure boot turned off as well.
Should I turn off fast boot?
They're two different options lmao
Nope you can leave both of those on
Try pressing escape during boot, before the bazzite logo
Ok. In other news i tried turning it on again and it attempted to kill innit.
I was able to get to the select device screen. I am met with two options "Bazzite (insert ssd name here)", and enter setup.
The bazzite option now leads to a blank screen. Setup just takes me to bios.
GRUB is after that
so select bazzite, then spam esc
Ok
I am now in grub v 2.06
What do i type into bash?
shouldn't be in bash, try spamming alt instead. You want the picker between versions
IE: image 0 and image 1
Solution
then pick image 1
Ok
Currently fighting the UI. Pressing alt didn't work so I'm trying to press esc at the right time once so I don't hit bash.
Made it. I have 4 options.
either :1
Ok
I successfully booted into the operating system! Is there something I can do to ensure that I don't boot into 0?
rpm-ostree rollback will set you to :1
and I'll look into this and ping you when it's safe to update
Where do I type this in?
any terminal
Ok. I'll boot into desktop and type it there. Thank you so much!
Is it safe to update?
yes
Ok 👍
