Mod-Manager simply doesnt open, no matter what I try
Yeah, It just doesnt open. Its nowhere to be seen in the task manager, its the newest Version and I know the file name is incorrect in the video, because I cant execute a file with cmd if the file name has spaces so I renamed it.
As you can see in the video, I tried double clicking, rightclick and then open, open as admin and executing via cmd and nothing worked.
Doesnt work with the original name aswell. Odly works if I install the mod manager in a Windows 11 Virtual Machine on my Pc, but not if I install it on my native main Windows 11.
Is there like a .log or something that I can provide to make finding and fixing the problem easier?
Could sb help me out? Would really appreciate the help 🙂

You can properly clean webview2 using https://github.com/ShadowWhisperer/Remove-MS-Edge/raw/refs/heads/main/Remove-EdgeWeb.exe, then reinstall webview using the Evergreen Bootstrapper from https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH#download

The log is in
%localappdata%\SatisfactoryModManager\logs
, but it's unlikely it will actually contain the error if it crashes like thatHere's a debug build that you can run from command prompt and it should log whatever the issue is in the terminal, so that you can send it here

I found https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all/edge-failed-to-startside-by-side-configuration/f6e7c7e0-c9cf-4647-8772-af4809c7b63c, but seems like the microsoft support website is down somehow?
Are you runing a debloated windows version or something, that could be blocking Webview2 as part of removing Edge?
Could be, that I used a general debloating-software once to, well, debloat my pc.
I have to check if I still have wbview2 installed
gimme a sec

There's this, which might work depending on what the debloat actually did
oh yead, that was it. After reingstalling the webview2 it now works.
thanks a lot
