Blank screen on boot
Here's what I have already done and what I know...
- Yes, the secure boot is fully disabled
- No, on blank screen, I can't access terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F10. Although I do see the login prompt but it just froze after that.
- I can get in to the plasma desktop by editing the files in grub boot, where i first go to the terminal ( which actually works) and start plasma session... but even on there, when I try to run the "GAming Mode"... it just takes me back to the terminal.
Specs:
CPU: Intel core i5 6th Gen
RAm: 32GB
Boot Drive Size: 256GB SSD
GPU: AMD RX 5700XT

Also - I am using the home theater PC iso with AMD as GPU, KDE as Desktop Environment, and gaming mode is enabled.
The problem is with steamos (Gaming mode).
I tried the same iso without setting the steam gaming mode to yes in the iso installation, and it successfully boots up to plasma. But when I go to gaming mode, the screen freezes and even the TTY shell doesn't work.
A few things to try:
* Reset steam and see if that fixes it with
ujust fix-reset-steam and let steam re-install itself, after you have logged in reboot and see if you can get into Gamemode
* Rebase to an older version of Bazzite and see if the issue persists or not in the older version bazzite-rollback-helper rebase stable-40.20241014.0 then you can see if it's a Bazzite 41 issue or not
