Could I wear hoodies/sweaters with this or would only suits work

Just saw this on vinted, it’s 90% wool and 10% cashmere so it might be really good for the upcoming winter just worried about what I’d wear with it

you could wear it with a hoodie or sweater. just keep in mind that it has structured shoulders, and you'll more commonly see a raglan shoulder coat like this for more casual fits. if you're comfortable with that then go ahead

That makes sense is it the right angle on the shoulder ?

you can see that the sleeves are a separate piece that get attached at the shoulder

raglan coats have a seam near the shoulder that looks like this instead https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0561/4203/7156/files/row3_185130010003_800px.jpg?v=1639600667

i will clarify that the sleeves in the coat you posted are called "set in" sleeves. it looks like it also has shoulder pads that make it a "structured" shoulder. the photo i posted is raglan sleeve with an unstructured shoulder. if that makes sense.

That does That’s useful to know So I want to aim for a raglan shoulder

Personally I would aim for that, it also makes sizing a bit easier if you can’t try the coat on before buying

Would this classify as a raglan? @hecklebuckle

That seam means it’s a set in sleeve Could be less structured but hard to know without seeing it in person
