Reinstalled Bazzite in ROG Ally, didnt get welcome screen?
Hi I had to reinstall Bazzite, with some minor hiccups it worked, after Installation I didnt get the Welcome Screen where I can choose what to install, for ex. Emudeck. Can I force it to show again? #🛟bazzite-help #rogally

open bazzite portal in the desktop

it does not start
i clicked it but opens and does not start
open terminal and
yafti --force
see what it doesparserError: while parsing a block mapping
nothing opens
any suggestions?
guessing something is wrong in the yafti config
good news though is that everything in yafti can be done in terminal using
ujust --choose
left is a menu you select what you want, right side is the sourcecode and description of what it it is going to do
just select what to run and press enter
this also has more in it than the bazzite portal
hmm its too complicated i dont know what to choose
is there a way to get the portal working again?
will need to fix the config (if thats where the issue is) and push a new build
you can also try rebase to an older version and just use the portal from that
you choose the same things you would in the portal
emudeck? type emudeck and it will show you the command you can select to install emudeck, etc
only downside is you cant multiselect in this and add multiple things at once
how I can rebase to an older version of portal?

nothing is neccessary it is all personal preference
but i suggest rebasing to an older bazzite version, go through the portal then rebase back to stable with bazzite-rollback-helper rebase stable

essentially its the same as going back to an older update for bazzite
I can give it a try but
I played some Hogwarsts and it ran perfectly fine
so if there are not nessessary anything which I have to consider than maybe I leave it how it is
it runs very great
but maybe you can give me the arguments to install emudeck via command
if you want emudeck just run
ujust --choose type emudeck then press enter
and follow the prompts if anyit does not work
other than that there isnt anything else i can think of that anyone would deem a neccessity

ujust itself has a lot more choices than the portal, its where we put all our useful scripts and stuff and it moves faster than the portal

Heroic is included as flatpak maybe
I thought so at least
