Just excercise?
Hello Everyone! So I am 5'8 180 pounds(Yes I know) and that's all fine except for the fact that most of my fat goes to the thigh area. Making the majority of formal pants(trousers, chinos, suit pants) very tight at the top. I have been interested in getting some good semi-formal/casual pants but the majority are slim fit unfortunately. I am planning on losing some of that weight but what can I do right now in terms of clothes to make it so that the top/crotch area of the pants isn't tight? (34/32 US for most pants.)

get non slim fit pants
if you post a location and budget people can send you recs
idk why you wrote "yes i know" but that's a very normal height and weight.
sounds like you're not wearing pants in a flattering cut or fit. like art said, look for something other than slim and in particular look for something with a higher rise.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking about. But with the style, I've been looking at(pic above), it is actually pretty hard to find non-slim fit pants.
Loc: USA
Budget: cheap but I'm going off of my parents' money so don't flame me 😭
$20 - $60 I understand if there isn't a good set of pants for my budget but I got to get a job soon lmao

alr so wool trousers yeah
not chinos
Yeah, Ive been looking for these type of pants specifically(I do need chinos though) but I dont know what they are called? Are they just wool trousers?
Cause when I search them up I get a bunch of different styles on them
yeah. at that budget I'd honestly suggest hitting your local thrift stores. at least around me there's tons and tons of vintage wider cut pants like this readily available for super cheap. this is a pair I grabbed for like $7
pleated trousers another good search term
I do like the way that it looks, but I would rather prefer a more slimed down version of that pant
I've been looking into more professional/more fitted outfits since tbh
So what every person my age says "old money" I guess sounds cringe when I type it out but it is the style im looking for
You're not going to get "old money" pants for $20-60.
Worth a try🤷♂️ Im not suprised about that at
Thank you guys so much though!
What I really recommend is that you buy a pair of wide pants that fit you well in the waist and thighs and then if they're not as slim as you'd like you can pay a tailor probably $10-20 to slim the legs for you.
Yeah Pierre is right
There’s plenty of wider pants that don’t come off nearly as wide as arts look in that pic
