Discord no longer streaming
I had some issues recently where my bazzite 41 ostree 0 had some issues after installing Virtualbox. I was able to get that issue sorted and back on bazzite 41 however since this issue, my Discord no longer streams screens or applications. Once I "Go Live" my screen just stays blank. Sometimes crashing discord completely. Any idea's where to start debugging this and how?

discord does not support wayland for streaming
use vesktop
also we dont support virtualbox
I've figured out the lack of virtualbox support. But I've always been able to stream to discord. I use AMD and since I Swapped out my cards, thats never been an issue

Well thats jokes. You mentioned vesktop, never heard of this, i'll check it out
vesktop is a wrapper for the web client with some extras like streaming support for wayland
you lose some functions that are in the normal discord client so i use the normal discord client as long as im not streaming my screen
if i need to do that i switch to vesktop and stream
then switch back to normal client when done since i rely on the functions i lose when using vesktop

compared to discords own client this one lets you easily pass audio in the stream too without using the mic channel :clueless:
