Question 11 I am pretty sure my approach is correct but from my method ans comes when I take given heat of combustion and heat of formation of c2h2, CO2 and h2o with signs opposite of given. Can I do that??

Logically the heats should be negative only but are given with positive signs

Heat of combustion is negative. Heat of formation - that can have any sign. Please don’t change given sign This is a bad question लोल. But yea. Changing sign of combustion makes sense cos that is always negative

The heat of combustion of acetylene is 312 Kcal . If heat of formation of CO_(2) & H_(2)O are -94 & ... is 93 Kcal . Calculate (DeltaH_(C=C))/(6)

fiitjee module cant help it 🤡 but heat of formation of co2 and h2o is bound to be -ve since both are very stable compounds so ig its best to use them with -ve signs there are a lot of misprints in it

Na this logic is risky Data is data

Bad module :p As you can see from the q I sent it is there in the data

fr yeah so its best to use with logical signs then

na question me diya hoga i am serious, this is the issue with the module, what you did is goodf the logical parts are used in C-H bond enthalpy being +ve, atomisation being +ve and combustion being -ve formation you cant predict.
