Undercover shirt sizing conversions
Alright I’m trying to do like 5 forms of conversions here
I’m aiming to buy a shirt in a size large from undercover. Apparently Japanese sizing runs small, so typically if I wanted a US size large, I would order an XL. But undercover typically does fairly relaxed fits don’t they?

(I have tried measuring in the past compared to shirts I have bought I apparently can’t do it right because I have never gotten what I’ve expected by doing so lol)

Curious about your experience with measurements. This tshirt is definitely cut boxy but otherwise the proportions are pretty normal.
I own a lot of undercover, and let me tell you there is no rhyme or reason for sizing sometimes. I would genuinely stick by measurements of your favourite shirt.
Some times i have to go two sizes up, other times i can fit a size 2 as an XL mens US.
In the case of this shirt the shoulders are dropped, but the chest is tighter and the length is long
So if i want an XL to fit me, i would get a size 5. IMO.
Because usually an XL is a 24’ chest.
I have measured things before, received them, measured them next to each other, the numbers seemingly being the same, and then the new thing fitting completely differently lmao
Like I have no idea how that’s possible but
And then there’s also like idk how much wiggle room you can get from a measurement and still be on size
lol yeah they even say in the description measurements may very even by the same product lmao
So tighter chest but dropped shoulders and lengthy. So maybe a 5/XL would be like a relaxed fit US large?
5 would be a TTS US XL imo
Just for the chest alone
For me the chest on a shirt is the most important part comfort wise

Basically I was considering pulling the trigger on a size 5 since it’s all sold out on their website and eBay only has that size listed lol
I would wait around and see what pops up on mercari imo
Idk if you’ve compared pricing but i find the official undercover store to be way more expensive than in store retail
There’s also the factor that I’m losing weight to also figure in so I’m like, okay I want this to fit like a US large that’s my target size. Japanese sizing runs small but undercover runs relaxed etc
I guess thats international tax but it blows for exclusive drops

I think somebody probably did pick it up in store in Japan
Awesome then price wise, but if youre looking at this long term then yeah maybe you can afford to get a slimmer size
word. Maybe I’ll wait and see if one pops up then
Undercover doesn’t do restocks on these kind of drops im assuming?

Even with tshirts? There's a few reasons two things can have same measurements and different fits. On the other hand this is just a tshirt and undercover is not doing anything special with their tshirt cuts.
Mosh's advice is good, I'm just intrigued by this haha
