ARM Investigation

Anyone have an ARM machine who can quickly test something?
$ podman run --rm -it --platform linux/arm64 quay.io/fedora/fedora-silverblue:41
$ podman run --rm -it --platform linux/arm64 quay.io/fedora/fedora-silverblue:41
I think we might be ready for ARM. The image now has the correct architecture metadata, which was the primary blocker.

Can I check - did you previously try running one of these images and get a warning about emulating an AMD64 image? Not sure who I was speaking to earlier regarding this

Yeah, a few months ago even if you specified the arch it would complain that the image is amd64 based

Awesome. So yeah, you know what we're looking out for. I believe it should be fixed now

Sweet! I didn't realise there was an ARM thread already (https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1142952704654721027) so I think I'll move over there.
Apologies!
