keepers not feeding my animals
So im still having issues with my keepers feeding my animals. they will place the food down on the ground and not the food plates. The animals wont eat it if its just on the ground, as it keeps spoiling. ive made sure everything is accessible, have assigned someone to only feed the animals and not clean, have tried to replace the plates, made sure theyre species specific, keepers have the huts, my employees are all happy and can access everything, but they just walk into the habitat and then leave. i had this issue last weekend, and thought i fixed it, but i did not. i have restarted my game, and even went to other zoos in my franchise, but no one is feeding my animals

Do you have multiple species in the same habitat?
no
i already responded.
Honestly idk why but I have the feeling that ur probles is the space
U know that this is also for help?
will they not fill it if my habitats are too big? that's an issue I've been battling and trying to fix as i continue making habitats. I'm challenging myself with a primate area right now, and making smaller habitats. is there some setting to turn on to help me figure out the diameter and all that other fun stuff? or is it just a guess/adjust type thing
It just s feeling that I have
maybe ill see a difference with these smaller habitats as i continue on then
Zoopedia, it has a tab where u can set how many adults / offspring it calculates how big the habitat needs to be
oh?
Also depends on if hey have a bigger group the size of the habitat also need to be more bigger
So if it is for carnivorous mostly there are only 2 one habitat smaller

In my opinion, always calculate offspring aswell for habitat size. And then consider another 5 - 10% extra ( for tree's and rocks that take away space )
i usually make my habitats on the bigger side to acount for decorations. i do plan on going back through and finishing the habitats by recreating some of the ones from my local zoo, i just havent been working on that part yet
