ROG Ally Controller + GRUB bootloader

I dual booted my OG ROG Ally Z1E and when I boot bazzite the controller doesn't work with GRUB. If instead I first enter the BIOS (power + volume down) or the Boot Menu (power + volume up) then the controller works perfectly with GRUB, but if GRUB is the first thing to show when booting the controller doesn't work. Is there any fix or work around for this?

there is no fix or workaround for it other than what you already described

Thanks Matt. That's a pity! Do you know why the controller is not enabled when GRUB shows first?

because the controller is enabled when you enter the bios so you can use it in the bios and gets left like that
