penalty for crashed drivers
lately i admit i have been afking for durations of about 30 secs to 1 minute to restart my laptop because my drivers keep crashing. i strongly believe this is an extremely unfair penalty (2hours) even htough I have done this multiple times. 9/10 when i come back nothing has happened and my teammates are waiting to push site or camping the site waiting for attack. please riot if your game crashes because your gpu and cpu coding isnt good enough and uses too much dont give me a penalty bc valorant could be MUCH better gpu optimized.

saying you crash and dont give a pentaly to yourself becuase "valorant can be better optimized so it isnt my fault" is kinda wrong
if you are unable to acess a computer fast enough to load into the game before it starts and the buy round has ended, the game instantly goes from 50% win/loss to 40% becuase you couldnt buy
if you cant load into a game, game is not for you
on a more theoretical side, it can also be used to fake afks and not get penalties, some programs can force shut your game and make it look like ur gpu crashed or sum and can be exploited to leave games without penalty
I understand your point completely, but I do have to agree with the message above. If you do not have a device that is able to run the game persistently, then maybe you should wait until you have the hardware to ensure you can play properly.
And I think that in this case, the penalties are valid. Of course it is not your fault that your Laptop keeps crashing, but it IS your fault that you keep queueing the game when you know what will most likely happen. So either way, you are putting your team into a disadvantage on purpose by queueing.
