oh and I downloaded libdecor for testing, blender booted but without CUDA support and laggy
I created a new container with blender in it and started it from command line, libdecor error was still there so libdecor is not relevant
well you don't have x11
and you should use the blender flatpak
any way to not use flatpak version?
if you're having permission issues with the flatpak version install flatseal
theming issues can be fixed by downloading the theme you want on flathub or by passing it through
download the tar.gz version
I mean is there any way to download and use graphic applications on containers?
Yes, you just did it
Somehow it just stopped working
do they use graphics cars?
Yeah they have access to hardware
any idea how to fix?
this is kinda hard to diagnose, it would be better to use the flatpak in this case though anyway
well in the end of the day I will need graphic applications in containers eventually
doesnt mean every graphical application doesnt work
well sorry for misinformation, I tested it with KiCAD too and still the same issue,
MESA error: CreateSwapchainKHR failed with VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
so
why do I need KiCAD and not just use flatpak version? I need development version of KiCAD to work on
ah damn sorry i thought only blender had this problem
nah I misinformed
did you try another container?
I am away from keyboard will try with ubuntu
but arch containers are have the same problem
you should be able to build a nightly flatpak
well the problem here is not with flatpak
ik js
try
