DNS Records No Longer Importing
Is anyone having an issue since yesterday where suddenly DNS records are not importing when you add a domain to an account? It started yesterday and has continued to today.

@Community Champion maybe have a look and escalate if needed? ⬆️
Looking now. I have even tried exporting registrar zone files and importing and it won't work. I am afraid to break my customer's email, but do not want to manually enter all of the records for all the accounts I enter all day. THANK YOU!
What error you get? 🤔
Was importing the DNS records done in the process of adding a new domain to the CF account, or rather later on under the DNS tab ?
Did you delete DNS records before re-importing again or left them "as-is"?
Are you from the USA, EU or APAC?
I add the domain to my account, select Quick scan for DNS records
Cloudflare will find and import your DNS records for you. And it usually imports all records. WHen I get to the DNS page, it is empty, no a records, no cname, no mx, NONE move in.
I am in the US
(and this seems to happened in the other thread I linked above too, so I think it was worth flagging)
Did you checked the Audit Logs under your CF account for more troubleshooting what has happened?
And the same issue, no DNS records under the DNS tab for the zone of your CF account in some other Web browser or Incognito Window? 🤔
Yes, it started yesterday. I have a bunch of sites I am supposed to add and make live today. If it does not get fixed I am going to just have to edit DNS at the registrar level and manually issue SSls which is not the way the company likes me to do it.

Audit logs summarize the history of changes made within your Cloudflare account. Audit logs include account level actions like login, as well as zone configuration changes.
Let me check that.
Wonder if the "scan" failed (if you were fast and going "Next" immediately might be you've missed that empty scan list if that happened), later on which is why you don't have any of the DNS records, or did CF actually get some of them and you're not as stating, seeing them anymore.
It has happened on NUMEROUS domains. And at different times. Been trying since about 2pm MST yesterday. everyone comes in blank.
I also have 3 different accounts with the company I work for, and it is happening on all 3 accounts.
Hi—we're escalating this as a reproduced issue, thanks for the heads-up.
THANK YOU!!!
You can force a scan via the API if you haven't changed the nameservers yet: https://developers.cloudflare.com/api-next/resources/dns/subresources/records/methods/scan/ a decent workaround if you can't import manually or recreate.

Even when this is fixed you'd probably have to readd the domain to have it happen, so a good option to avoid that as well
I have been putting the sites on hold and not doing anything until it is fixed at the moment.
No timeline but it's definitely been escalated and someone has been notified internally 😄
Well, hopefully soon. Lol. I will wait for a bit, if it does not get fixed I may just not bring them into CF and make changes at the registrar.
Issue has been resolved, the status should be updated soon.
Ok. I had JUST refreshed the page and it did not show resolved yet. But I will try adding a domain! THANK YOU FOR THE PROMPT WORK!
I just tried to add one and it still is not working. I am logging out of CF and logging back it. I know that is not logical, but maybe magic will happen.
Thank you for reporting!
Sorry for the issue
we can definitely see recovery and i was able to confirm it too - what exactly are you doing & seeing?
I go into my account, try to add a domain, select the recommended scan dns, and none of the DNS records pull in.
Trying another domain now
I think it is working now!
