What pants work with these shoes
Winter is killing me and I want a low profile shoe that keeps me dry in ice, snow, lots of puddles and slush. The weather will be like this for four months. I have boots, but don't want to wear them every day (and don't need to wear them depending on the weather). These are Nike and Nike ACG. If I had the money I would get Norda's in a black and white colorway so that I could have contrast. These Nike's don't come in a really great black and white version.
What fit, color, and style of pant works with these? I'm afraid they only work with black jogger style pants. Are black sportshoes just not a great option? Are they not fashionable? For the life of me, I cannot imagine good alternatives (to the shoes or the jogger pairing). I'm building a wardrobe that leans toward minimalism with some workwear and techwear mixed into it. I am middle aged, usually thin, 5"9, and wide pant adverse (or skeptical).

The one on the right is fine, the one on the left is less so
Have you looked into salomon
Regardless, I think gramicci pants would work with these as they read gorpy
I haven't looked at Salomon. I did not like the way their hiking boots were detailed so I forgot about them. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yeah baggy cargos would work well here
Look into the XT-6 and XT-4s
ASICS also makes some good tech shoes
the right pair is good, the left pair is bad
I don't think either would work particularly well with a slimmer legged pant
The issue with the left isn’t that they’re all black btw, the silhouette is just bad
i take it back i think the right could work in a quirked up pinroll slim/straight jean 2014 kinda way
snapback etc
The one on the left looks like a lifestyle shoe marketed towards tech people who walk to work yea agree with art
I think the most ‘fashionable’ version of what you’re after would be a salomon xt6
^actually yea they remind me of uhh, idk a pair of shoes my cyber security friend said he bought cause the ad said they're water proof
A la
and then he took his shoes off and run them under the sink
and it works
the left pair look like running shoes that arent running shoes, they're probably insanely comfortable but have negative drip and probably negative grip
Ill play devils advocate and point out that if you're wading through puddles and slush, low profile shoes will still leave you with wet ankles/feet
Having gone through two pairs that I beat to the ground I can for sure say that these are not good for wet weather at all UNLESS you get the Gore Tex version.
