Upload Limit
I was wondering if there is a way to get a higher upload limit than the 100 MB without having to use a cloudflare grey-record entry
because I don't want to go without the ddos protection etc. from cloudflare.

(And without having to switch to a plan that costs me 200 bucks per month for only an increased upload limit)
Simple answer is no: https://developers.cloudflare.com/cache/concepts/default-cache-behavior/#upload-limits
You could chunk your uploads into mutiple smaller uploads under the limit but that wouldn't be one simple upload
