Declaration of useless moderation
Dear riot games,
I feel extremly horrible. I just came out of a ranked game as mvp with sova where I was continuously bullied by my underdogs (cypher 2-15 and jett 7-13) who were old enough to be my parents. I had to intentionally throw to end the bullying as leaving would get me banned, ff was denied and team sabotage gets me banned.
Unacceptable from valorant. I will probably be banned for my throwing when I get back on my computer which basically means the victim is the one being punished with no other way to help themselves.
I put the blame on uneffective moderation as this probably isnt their first case, and uneffective matchmaking as there is no way these idiots got queued with silver to gold.

Hey, sorry to hear about your experience, though I do not work for Riot and can not help you any further other than advice you to for future reference catch a recording of negative behaviour in your game and report it to Riot's support on their website https://support-valorant.riotgames.com/hc/en-us
Mute them if they start becoming toxic
My main problem isnt just voice chat toxicity
It's the overall feeling that they were in their little enclosed bubble not trying to win
As soon as you make a mistake they'll make a fuss then go back to their habits that are obviously making the Whole Team lose
Not the first time it happens and it's getting really annoying that players like this can get past Iron 3.
thats just their sad depressing life ignoring them is second best beaten by reporting
Not enough if i'm still losing my ranked games to this behaviour
valorant being so focused/based around it's ranked mode yet not making efforts towards making moderation improve the competitive environment just doesent work
these games arnt the reason you are in the rank you are
and how are moderation supposed to ban players before getting toxic?
lets say someone went on their account and decided that this day they wanted to actively throw a game
how could riot prevent that?
they cant ban them preemptively so there will be a game that someone will throw
in a ranked game you're paired with 9 randoms and 5 of the randoms are on the enemy and 4 randoms are on your team
that means statistically, 5/9 vs 4/9 means that if there were to be a thrower in the lobby you're in, it would 5/9 times be on the enemy team and 4/9 be on your team
Basically what this guy said ^
it's fair to be mad at the community or the people who do this
riot actually deals with toxicity pretty well
moderation improve the competitive environment just doesent work"" I don't think I need to say this, but Riot is not responsible for player misconduct, they just do their part like any other company by muting or banning them
They will work whenever necessary to create a more confortable environment, but there is no way to completely stop people from acting in bad faith
The way you put it makes it seem like theyre responsible for the players being bad people, which doesn't make any sense.
