Problem with analog headphone/microphone jack (Rog Ally X)
I have an issue where the microphone of my analog earbuds are not recognized when i plug them in, leading to me sounding like complete ass in voice comms as it is stuck using the internal mic. This is not an issue on windows on the same system.
I have tried swapping between "Analog Stereo Duplex", "Analog Stereo Output", "Analog stereo Input", and "Pro Audio" without any change. I'm pretty new to linux, so i don't really know where to begin with something like reinstalling the audio driver, any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Bumping this, just realized it won't detect the microphone of a pair of Bluetooth buds either
Hey Guys, same issue here. Anybody any idea? Hate to have to keep swapping back to Windows for Discord
The issue is that the microphone jack keeps reading 'unplugged' despite a headset being plugged into the jack. So it doesn't switch over. I guess the driver isn't recognizing a mic-headset combo being plugged in
