Is there a difference in design in gendered leather shoes?

Hey, so I was looking into getting my first pair of loafers/mocs but I have small feet that are below retail men's sizes. So, on the very basic designs without heels, are they unisex or is there some secret shoe rule? Below are some example images I found of shoes on women's stores that looked fairly unisex to me.
