EG shirt fit check, styling, issues
I received a new Engineered Garments combo shirt, but I think it fits weird. The waist is really baggy without being that wide in the chest. Should it be worn tucked or untucked?
What kind of pants is best to pair it with? I wore the baggiest pants I have at the moment but I'm not sure if that works well. I also have issues with the stitching. This shirt has more loose threads I've ever had on a new shirt. I expected better craftmanship given how much this brand is revered around these parts.

I prefer it untucked with those pants, but if it feels small in the chest it may be worth going up a size so it has a more consistent oversized fit throughout
those threads look like runoff threads, things that can be snipped and don’t effect the structural integrity of the shirt. I see it on a lot of eg stuff, especially the patch worked things
ya i agree, i think you could actually size up. did you size down?
loose threads i wouldn't sweat, that's just the style. all the EG i have is built like a tank.
Thanks, I bought my normal medium size. The sleeves and shoulders are already oversized, so I don't know about sizing up
It's supposed to be huge. as it is, like meaty said, it's not huge everywhere and that might be why you feel it fits weird
Nearly no EG shirts look good tucked ATM in my opinion, this one especially. The aline (big waist compared to shoulders) cut is such a big feature I wouldn't try to hide it, and if you don't like that cut EG shirts probably aren't for you ATM.
